(AN) Two years. That's how long it's been since the previous update. So… yeah. Sorry. Real lives and other stories were the reasons why I haven't written any new chapter lately. But I'm not giving up on this story! Now, despite IDFB and BFB had debuted, they will be non-canon in this story. However, the recommended characters apart from TV and Black Hole will have their BFB personalities appear at some point.

A yellow time card showed '1 Month Later', and then faded to show Coiny stood beside the swaying Recovering Center. Firey had long since stopped screaming. Now he was letting out a yelp whenever he fell into the river. Coiny frowned in concentration before clicking his fingers and smiled. He stepped over and got to his knees. He extended his hands to reach the swaying spring, only to be knocked back by the Recovering Center.
Coiny: OOF!
Pin: (She stood beside him, raising a brow) I'm still questioning the continuity with our timeline. (She held up a '1 Month Later' time card)
Coiny: (He groaned, sitting up and rubbing his head. He then noticed Bomby was rolling over to him. A realization had shown on his face, and slapped his forehead) Can't believe I didn't think of this earlier.
Pin: About what?
Coiny: (He stood and looked at Bomby. He showed a smile) Hey, Bomby, I need your help with something.
Bomby: What? (He raised a brow when Coiny picked him up)
Coiny walked over to the swaying Recovering Center, still hearing a splash, a hissing sound, and Firey's yelping in pain. He paused for a moment. He lifted Bomby just when Firey had appeared from the Recovering Center. His body had made contact, lighting Bomby's fuse.
Bomby: (He gasped) OH NO! (He attempted to get out of Coiny's grips, but Coiny wrapped his arms around him)
Coiny walked away from the Recovering Center, waiting until the fuse was only a few seconds away from reaching inside the increasing panicky Bomby. Found his timing, he threw Bomby at the Recovering Center. When Bomby hit the machine, he exploded. Coiny and Pin turned away to shield their eyes from the explosion. When it was over, they looked back at the black powder where the Recovering Center used to be. They saw remained of the Recovering Center, spring and Bomby floating on the river.
Coiny: (He turned to Pin and smiled) Problem solved!
Pin: (Her face suddenly filled with worried and pointed at something behind Coiny) Coiny, look out!
Coiny: Wha- (He turned around, only to feel the hardest slap he'd ever received from Firey. He screamed, flew back about a hundred feet, leaving a long trail of dirt. He groaned and looked up. He winced, using a hand over his eyes to prevent himself from being blind from the sun. But it wasn't the sun, it was Firey, riding on his fireproof jetpack. The sight of fires engulfing his eyes had made him completely forget the stinging pain on his face)
Firey: (His voice became malice) That's for making me fall into the river over and over again for a month. (He turned around and flew away)
Coiny: Hey, I've been trying to free you!
Firey: (He stopped, looking at him) A month! It took you that long to finally free me! (He scoffed) Only you can be this stupid. (He turned around again to fly away when he felt something gripping him) Hey, what- (He was slammed into the ground) OW! (He sat up to see Coiny stomped over to him)
Coiny: DON'T CALL ME STUPID! (He slapped Firey)
Firey: (He glared at him and stood up) Jerk! (He slapped Coiny)
Coiny: You're a bigger jerk for calling me stupid for so long! (He slapped Firey)
Firey: That's because you are! (He slapped Coiny)
Coiny: (He slapped Firey) If I'm so stupid then why did we start hating each other in the first place?
Firey opened his mouth, but no word had come out.
Coiny: (He rolled his eyes and spoke in a sarcastic tone) And I'm the stupid one. It's because you always called me stupid! You had been since we've first met!
Firey opened his mouth, but Coiny kept speaking.
Coiny: I hated it when someone called me stupid. I don't think your ashes for brain know this, but I WANT to be smart! I want to be like Golf Ball but without being a bossy bot. I want to be someone who can use their brain to come up with a solution to succeed. Everybody loves those guys! (He glared at Firey) But thanks to you, the viewers labelled me as a slapper!
He walked away, muttering about how he would never become more than a slapper. Firey watched Coiny, thinking about what he'd just said moments ago. Remained silent, he turned on his jetpack and flew away. With both of them left, Pin remained in the scene. She turned to the screen.
Pin: Since when did this show become so dramatic?

In their home base, Tennis Ball and Rocky were inside an office, writing on a paper with their foot. Tennis Ball's writing looked professional while Rocky's looked like a child scribbled on their parent's paperwork.
Tennis Ball: (Noticing Rocky's handwriting, he gave him a smile) Don't put yourself down too much. It takes practice to make your writing looks good. The best way to do that is to write every day.
Rocky: (He looked at Tennis Ball, wary at the thought of doing it every day)
Tennis: (He stopped smiling for a moment before a light bulb appeared above his head) I've got an idea. Whenever you'd finish writing for thirty minutes per day, you can spend the rest of the day, barfing.
Rocky: (He smiled and nodded. He continued writing for a bit before Firey's voice was heard across the city)
Firey: (He was hovering above the city in his jetpack, speaking through a megaphone, looking excited) Everyone! It's Cake at Stake time! It's time for Cake at Stake! It's Cake at Stake! It's Cake at Stake! (He trembled) OMLOUD! THE NEXT CAKE AT SKATE IS HERE! IT'S HHHHHHEEEEEEEERRRRRRRRREEEEEE!
Megaphone: (He glared at him) SHUT UP!
Firey: (He looked at him in surprise)
Cake at Stake's Introduction: Cake at Stake! Cake at Skate! (The words were moving upward on the city blocks) Everybody's wants a cake! Want a Cake! (Words appeared in the night sky as shooting stars) Who'll be safe? (Words spread across the road) Who'll be out? (Words appeared in front of the power station with lightning in the background) We'll find out at Cake at Skate! (A cake with the title landed into the stadium)
In the large stadium, FreeSmart, and Team No-Name sat on the further and higher benches, while W.O.A.H. Bunch sat at the front. Coiny slouched in his seat, arms folded, wanting to this Cake at Skate over with.
Fries: Oh, good! That wasn't the new theme song because if it was, it was way over the top!
Firey: (He stood on the catwalk with the television beside him, rubbing his hands together, grinning) Okay! Let's get to it! (He looked at the screen) We have 13,168 votes this time.

Firey: (He looked shocked) Wow! I didn't expect anyone to receive a prize like that! (He smiled at TV, who stared at the wheel in shock) But congratulation, TV! You've made the top thirteen!
TV: (He grinned and then his screen showed himself landing into one of the top thirteen slots. A triumph music had played as he jumped in joy while his screen showed a series of fireworks)
Coiny: Ugh… It would've been useful to have that now.
Firey: (He grinned) And now, let's find out who received the most dislikes!
Needle: (She looked at Pin, smiling) It's good that we're not losing another girl this time.
Pin: (She looked worried) Yeah, but we're gonna lose one of our teammates! (She pointed at the worried W.O.A.H. Bunch, who was now under the spotlights)
Golf Ball: Correction, we're your teammates! (She gestured to herself, Tennis Ball, and Rocky)
Pin and Needle glared at her.
Coiny: (He sighed) Well, looked like my time has finally come.
Yellow Face: Don't give up, Coiny!
Pen: Yeah! The voting can be so complicated sometimes. Did anybody expect Teardrop to be gone?
The contestants were all talking at once, stating their opinion how Teardrop's elimination was unexpected.
Firey: (He looked deep in thought) I still don't know how did she get eliminated. (He looked back at the contestants) Enough delaying, guys! Let's showed the dislikes! (He and the contestants turned to the television, watching each member of W.O.A.H. Bunch had a red bar sliding across the screen)
Pen: (He looked at Coiny) The- (He extended his arm, tapping his finger Pin's head) Point is, no one knows who is really out of the game until the result is revealed. (He smiled) Plus, it'd be hilarious to see you being safe after Firey spent all this time waiting for your elimination.
Coiny: (A smile appeared on his time) Yeah, that would totally make Firey looks like a- (He heard a loud beep and looked back at the screen, seeing the dislike result)

Firey: (He smiled) Now I can finally enjoy the competition!
Black Hole: You're still ineligible to win Dream Island.
Firey sat on the floor. We can only see his back, but he was twirling his finger on the floor.

In the centre of the city, the remaining contestants stared at Firey, who hadn't changed his position since Cake at Skate.
Ruby: (She glared at Black Hole) Aw, you broke him, Black Hole!
Black Hole: I was just stating a fact.
Book: That's… unfortunately true. (She glanced at Firey) Since our host is… unavailable at the moment, perhaps we should use this time to do the switch?
Gelatin: (To his teammates) Does anyone here want to switch?
Most of FreeSmart members glanced at Black Hole, expecting him to make a sudden movement, but he remained silent.
Golf Ball: (She faced her teammates) Alright, Team No-Name. It's time to restore this team's status as the largest team in the game. (She turned around to look at FreeSmart) FreeSmart remained as six, so I believe we should bring- (She screamed, felt a series of vomits slammed into her back, knocking her to the ground)
Tennis Ball: (His eyes widened) Golf Ball?! (He turned around to face Rocky, only to receive vomits to his face as well, knocking him to the ground)
Pin: (She was holding Rocky up like a machine gun. She glanced at Needle) Run! (She threw Rocky away, and followed Needle)
Golf Ball: (She stood up and turned around. She gasped, seeing Pin and Needle were running towards W.O.A.H. Bunch) We have to stop them! Rocky, use your- (She couldn't see Rocky anywhere) Where did you go?!
Rocky: (His voice was heard off-screen) BULLEH!
Golf Ball: (She snapped her head behind her, seeing Ice Cube covered in vomit. Most of her teammates looked shocked)
Ice Cube: Ew!
Realizing the vomit was from above, Golf Ball looked up, seeing Rocky lodged in a tall building's wall. The name of the building called 'Woolworths'. She could see wools in every window.
Needle: (She and Pin stood beside their former team) Yay, we're back!
Bomby: (He grinned and bounced) YAY! (His teammates smiled as well)
Golf Ball: (She stomped her feet on the ground) Curses! (She faced Tennis Ball, who slowly stood up. His face was still covered in vomit) Our potential number advantage is gone! But we had won regardless of our disadvantage. We will just have to settle to us three once more.
Rocky: (His voice was heard off-screen) BULLEH! (The sound of his vomit landed on something was also heard off-screen)
Ice Cube: (Her voice was heard off-screen) Oh, come on!
Fries: (To his teammates) Okay, the switching part is over. Can we get to the next important stuff now?
Firey: (He suddenly appeared beside Fries, smiling) Yeah, let's get to it!
Fries looked shocked at Firey's unexpected appearance.
Ruby spun the colourful wheel, and it landed on 'Yoyle River Race.'
Firey gripped his face and screamed while showing eerily-colored and streaked background.
Fries: Gah! (He took a step away from Firey and rubbed where his ears would be. He glared at Firey) Quit making me deaf, and get to explaining stuff!
Firey: (He stopped screaming. He groaned and faced the contestants. He started speaking in a monotone voice) For this challenge, you have to ride down the river on a raft from top of Yoyle Mountain to all the way to the sea. The last team to reach there will be up for voting. (He pointed at the mountain) Go.
Half an hour later, the remaining contestants arrived at the top of Yoyle Mountain. The pole leading up to the summit was seen in the background. They could see three wooden rafts, and multiple paddles resting on shore.
Golf Ball: Tennis Ball! Rocky! We must- (She didn't finish her sentence, seeing Black Hole using a gravitational pull on one of the rafts into the river. His teammates jumped on just as their raft began to ride down the river. She gasped, and snapped her head at her teammates) Quickly! We must- (She was interrupted once more, seeing W.O.A.H. Bunch pushed their raft into the river, and jumped on. She gasped louder, and looked back at her teammates, trembling) HURRY-
Rocky: BULLEH! (He vomited on Golf Ball, and kicked her onto the raft. He and Tennis Ball pushed the raft into the water, and then jumped on)
FreeSmart raced ahead, finding themselves riding down a steep hill.
Ruby: (She had her arms in the air, grinning) Wwwweeeeeeee!
Gelatin: (He looked at Book) Hey, Book, do you know how long it'll be before we'd reach the sea?
Ruby: (She stopped cheering, and frowned) Gelatin, I'm supposed to ask that important question! (She looked at Book) How long?
Book: Hmm… Given the distance and how fast we're going, I'm going to say it'll take-
Ice Cube: (Seeing a sharp turn in the river, she gasped) Hey, guys! We need to- (She was interrupted by Black Hole, who suddenly pulled the raft to sharp right, causing Book to fly off)
Book screamed and flailed her arms, flying over the dry-land filled with recommended characters. She appeared to be falling into the river, only to have landed on the raft.
Book: (She groaned, placing a hand on her head) What just happened?
Ruby: You flew off the raft!
Fries: Luckily, the raft changed back to the original direction. (He turned around to glare at Ice Cube) Why didn't you tell us about that turn?
Ice Cube: I, I tried to, but-
Fries: (He held out his hand) Save the chit-chat. We almost lost a teammate because of you. (He turned away)
Ice Cube: (She looked down and sighed)
Not far behind, W.O.A.H. Bunch almost reached the same sharp corner where FreeSmart almost lost a teammate.
Pin: Brace yourselves, guys!
TV: (He showed a text, 'Please put your arms, legs in at all time.')
Bomby: (He glanced down where his arms and legs used to be. He sighed)
Yellow Face: (He noticed Bomby looked upset) What's wrong, Bomby?
Bomby: (He wiggled his body) NO ARMS! NO LEGS!
Yellow Face: I know how you feel, Bomby. Being limbless can be tragic. (He gave him a smile) But you can still enjoy life without your-
TV: (He showed a different text, 'Please no flash photography.')
Yellow Face: (He brought out a camera) OH! A PRETTY SIGHT! (He pressed his tongue on the button, creating a flash)
Needle: (She placed her hands on her swirly eyes) Ah! I can't se-
Pen and Pin turned the raft to sharp right, but Needle, Yellow Face, and Bomby flew off. They screamed, flying over a different crowd of recommended characters on dry-land.
Yellow Face: (He stopped screaming, seeing Yoyle Needy nearby) Oh, I can see Yoyle Needy from here!
Needle: (She slapped Yellow Face) Don't call me- (She stopped glaring, and looked at Yoyle Needy) Wait, there's a tower named after me? (She, Yellow Face, and Bomby landed on their team's raft)
Pen: So your name is Needy?
Needle: (She slapped Pen) No, it's not! It's Needle!
Yellow Face: Why do you hate being called Needy so much?
Needle: Needy makes me sounds-
The scene cut to Team No-Name before Needle revealed her reason for hating being called Needy.
Golf Ball: (Seeing the sharp corner ahead, she faced her teammates) Tennis Ball, Rocky! We need to steer this raft before we'd all crashed!
Rocky's cheeks swollen, turned around to face backward and unleashed his vomits into the river like a propeller. Tennis Ball and Golf Ball screamed, finding themselves riding their raft like a speedboat. They kept screaming as their raft flew off the river, and over a different crowd of recommended characters on dry-land. They were all coated by Rocky's vomits.
They landed on the water. Rocky stopped vomiting and smiled at his teammates.
Tennis Ball: (He blinked) Well, that's one way to solve the problem.
The scene cut back to W.O.A.H. Bunch, who all stared at Needle, who just finished her explanation.
Pen: Wow! That's explained a lot, Needle!
TV: (He showed a case file on his screen. It opened up, showing video clips of Needle's slapping someone throughout the series. The word, 'Needy' beside it had a red cross over it. Underneath them, it received a green stamp saying, 'Mystery Solved!'
Pin: I know, right? I don't see why it took three years for everyone to know that. It's not a big secret. Then again, I didn't know why Coiny hated Firey so much until the start of this episode.
FreeSmart approached a series of bridges stretched over the river. Each time the team went underneath the bridge, it was getting closer to them. By the fourth bridge, Book looked up, raising an eyebrow.
Book: Is it just me?
Needle: Or the bridges are-
Tennis Ball: Getting lower?
To answer their questions, Tennis Ball, Needle, Pen, TV, and Fries all hit the bridge's bottom, knocking them into the water.
Gelatin: Fries! (He looked back at his teammates) We have to go back for him!
Ruby: As FreeSmart's leader, I agree!
Black Hole: I'll get him. (He floated over to him, using his gravitational pull to bring Fries to the raft)
Gelatin: (He pulled Fries onto the raft. He pulled out one of Fries' fries and eat it. He cringed) Ugh! It's soggy!
Fries: (He looked annoyed) That's your only reason for bringing me back?
Black Hole pulled the raft again, propelling them into the lead once more.
Golf Ball: (Seeing FreeSmart getting further ahead, she looked at Rocky) Rocky, we need to go now!
Rocky: (He shook his head and pointed at Tennis Ball, who was floating in the water)
Golf Ball: There's no time! We must go now! (She grabbed Rocky, forcing him to projectile vomits like a machine gun)
Tennis Ball: (He watched his team's raft propelled faster while leaving a trail of vomit in the water) Golf Ball, please don't leave me here! (He swung his legs helplessly)
Golf Ball and Rocky flew past W.O.A.H. Bunch, who was trying to pull TV back onto the raft. Needle remained in the water, pushing TV underneath.
Pin: (She smiled) It's a good thing you're waterproof, TV.
TV smiled until a spark appeared on him, causing everyone to pause. The water had reached his circuits, which shorted him out. But in doing so, electrocuting Needle and Tennis Ball. All of them became charcoals then sank into the water. W.O.A.H. Bunch remained silent.
Pin: I should talk less, should I?
Yellow Face: Yes, you should.
Bomby: Paddle!
Pen: (He picked up his paddle) Yeah, good idea, Bomby.
Yellow Face and Bomby picked up their paddle with their teeth. The team then paddled forward.
FreeSmart moved past underneath the longest bridge.
Fries: How much longer before we've finished the challenge?
Book: (She pointed at the sea) The sea is just ahead! We're almost there!
FreeSmart except for Black Hole: (They cheered until Team No-Name's raft flew past them, coating them in Rocky's vomit)

Ruby: (She gasped) Team No-Name has taken our lead!
Fries: Then let's get it back! Paddle harder!
Ruby: What Fries say!
Obeying Fries and Ruby's order, FreeSmart paddled faster and harder, allowing them to decrease the gap between them and Team No-Name.
Golf Ball: (She looked behind herself and smiled. The sea was in her sight) Keep vomiting, Rocky! We're almost there! (She stopped smiling, finding the raft began to slow down. She looked back at Rocky, who looked drained)
Rocky: (He let out a raspy moan)
Golf Ball: (She widened her eyes and shook Rocky) Rocky, you cannot stop now! The end is in our sight!
Rocky: (He let out a raspy moan)
FreeSmart moved past the pair, reclaiming their lead.
Golf Ball: No! (She threw Rocky at them, creating a gaping hole in their raft, causing it to sink immediately. This allowed her to move past them)
FreeSmart except for Black Hole: (They screamed)

Black Hole: Everyone. Calm down. I'll pull our raft to the sea. (He pulled the raft above the surface. His teammates clung to the raft as he pulled them closer towards the sea)
Seeing FreeSmart was getting too close for her comfort again, Golf Ball picked up a paddle with her teeth, and paddled left and right to bring her closer to the sea.
Just reached underneath the longest bridge, W.O.A.H. Bunch saw their opposing teams were getting close to the sea.
Yellow Face: It looks like we're going to be up for elimination again.
Pen widened his eyes, hearing 'elimination again' repeatedly in his mind. Flashbacks showed him in four eliminations in a row in BFDI and then again in this season. Number five floated around him while the word 'again' was heard. His right eye twitched until he let out a scream, much to his teammates' surprise.
Pen: Not again! (He grabbed the second paddle and then spun his arms in the water until they became blurs)
Yellow Face, Bomby, and Pin screamed as they found themselves quickly closing the gap between them and the other teams.
Pin: (She watched the screaming Yellow Face and Bomby flew off the raft. She looked back at Pen while hanging onto the raft as if her life depended on it) Pen, what are you doing? Slow down!
Pen: NOT SLOWING DOWN!
FreeSmart and Golf Ball were only moments away from reaching the sea. The latter looked exhausted from paddling non-stop.
Ice Cube: (Hearing rapid splashing behind her, she turned around and widened her eyes) Guys?
Gelatin: We're not in that much of a hurry to reach the sea, do we? I mean, we'll still be safe if we rank second.
Ice Cube: Guys?
Fries: True, but I'd be more satisfied if we can beat Golf Ball. We can finally prove that we don't need her to lead us to victory.
Ice Cube: (Louder) Guys!
Book: You're quite right, Fries. FreeSmart was formed to retaliate against-
Ice Cube: (She looked back at her teammates) GUYS!
Fries: (He looked annoyed) What, Ice Cube?
Ice Cube opened her mouth, only for her team to be splashed on by W.O.A.H. Bunch, who reached the sea just before Golf Ball did.
Firey: (He was riding in his jetpack) W.O.A.H. Bunch wins!
Pin: (She smiled) Hooray! (She stopped smiling, realizing her teammate was still acting like a propeller) Pen, you can stop- (She couldn't finish her sentence as she lost her grips on the raft and landed in the water. She watched Pen disappeared in the horizon)
Golf Ball: (She dropped her paddles into the water and flopped onto her raft, gasping) I… made it!
Firey: You sure do! Team No-Name, or just you, are in second place!
Fries: That's not fair! We're the only- (He pointed at Black Hole) Whole team to make it here! That's gotta count for something!
Firey: I've never said you have to bring your whole team to the sea, so you guys are up for elimination.
FreeSmart: (They groaned)
Fries: (He narrowed his eyes at Ice Cube) If you have warned us sooner, we would've been safe!
Gelatin: Yeah, I've gotta side with Fries on this, Ice Cube. You really need to speak up more.
Ice Cube: (She narrowed her eyes and growled)
The voting screen showed FreeSmart, who each showed different expression.
Firey: (He smiled) Viewers, there are six contestants for you to vote! Like for prize, and dislike for elimination! Do it now! (He disappeared from the screen)
